Roy Martell
Mason gained fame as an illustrator and sporting artist. He was
a self-taught artist who created illustrations for Reader's
Digest and True Magazine. He was elected an Associate
of the National Academy and a member of the American Watercolor
Society, Allied Artists of America, the Buffalo Society of Artists,
and the Salmagundi Club, among others. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania
Academy of Fine arts, the Corcoran Gallery, the National Academy,
and many other venues, winning countless prizes and awards.
