Jonathan Thomas

Jonathan Thomas was a well-known Canadian and New York painter and sculptor. Thomas was the long-time partner of playwright Edward Albee, who wrote an essay about Thomas' work. Jonathan Thomas studied at McMaster University in Ontario. He exhibited at the Marianne Freedman Gallery, the Betty Parsons Gallery, and the Jack Tilton Gallery, all in New York. Jonathan Thomas also exhibited at the Roy Boyd Gallery in Chicago, the Wadsworth Athenaeum, and the Spanierman Gallery in East Hampton.
