Harold Persico Paris was a well-known sculptor and printmaker who taught at the University of California, Berkeley for many years. He was included in countless major exhibitions, including shows at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and a retrospective at Berkeley's University Art Museum. Harold Persico Paris's work is in major collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; the Art Institute of Chicago; the Joseph Hirschorn Collection, Washington, D.C.; and the San Francisco Museum of Art; and the Whitney Museum.
