Alfred
Fuller was a well-known Monhegan Island, Maine painter and lithographer.
He studied at Amherst College and with Roi Clarkson Colman in
La Jolla, California, where he lived in the 1930s. He settled
in Maine in the 1940s where he became known for his paintings
of Monhegan Island. He was a member of the Laguna Beach Art Association
and the La Jolla Art Association and he exhibited at the Pennslyvania
Academy of Fine Art, the Salmagundi Club, the National Academy
of Design, the Grand Central Art Galleries, and Kennedy Galleries.
